Jewish Learning for Kids

Open to all, Oheb Shalom offers additional learning opportunities beyond the preschool and Zeman School. Below, you’ll find information about our Little Sparks (3-4 years) program, as well as Partners in Play: Baby & Me (birth-15 months).

Little Sparks

Little Sparks: Growing Jewish Joy helps your family build joyful Jewish memories from the very beginning. Through hands-on learning, music, stories, and play, your 3- and 4-year-old will begin to explore Jewish life in a warm, age-appropriate setting. Each cycle includes two Sunday morning drop-off sessions just for the kids, followed by a third session for the whole family —like a holiday party, Shabbat dinner, or Jewish-themed carnival. The program is designed as an easy, welcoming entry point into Jewish community, no matter your background or experience. It’s a chance to connect, celebrate, and grow — together. Come plant the seeds of Jewish joy with us, one spark at a time.

Sundays, Feb 22 and March 1 at 9 am and Monday evening, March 2, Time TBA

Partners in Play: Baby & Me

Come build your village!

Birth-15 months.  Join Oheb Shalom’s Baby & Me community in partnership with PJ Library, where parents, caregivers, and little ones connect, learn, and grow together. Each 90-minute session is thoughtfully designed around Jewish holidays and the rhythms of Jewish life, blending joyful play, sensory exploration, and meaningful connections.

Together we’ll enjoy:

  • Open playtime to explore, move, and make new friends
  • Circle time with music, songs, and stories that celebrate our traditions
  • Caregiver connection time to reflect, share, and build community
  • Hands-on, sensory-rich holiday activities to spark curiosity and creativity
  • Relaxed playtime to unwind, connect, and savor new discoveries

Fridays, February 6, 13, 20, 27
