Library

Borrowing made simple. Never a late fee. Friendly suggestions.
The Fan and Hyman Jacobs Library is a treasure trove hidden in plain sight, just a few steps off the main floor of Oheb Shalom.
With more than 5,000 items, there is something for everyone. Books on philosophy, biography, history, and holidays fill the shelves. The fiction, selected for all age levels, includes both modern and classic works by Jewish and Israeli authors. There are special areas for graphic novels and parenting advice.
Librarian Aileen Grossberg is on site Sunday and Wednesday mornings, but you are welcome to visit whenever the building is open. You can also check out the Library blog (entries below) for Aileen’s suggestions for book lovers.
To see what’s new, please consult the Oheb weekly (Monday) emails, which contain updates on the library’s colection. You can join our email list here. For comments, suggestions, or requests, please contact Alieen at library@ohebshalom.org.
The Jacobs Library is filled with reading treasures for all ages. Come in, check the catalog online at home (direct link, above right) or send Aileen an email at library@ohebshalom.org.
