At Oheb Shalom, we believe everyone should have access to meaningful Jewish life. That’s why we keep dues as low as possible — and why we rely on something more powerful: each other.
Why We Need Your Support
Membership dues cover only some of what it takes to keep Oheb Shalom vibrant. It costs around $6,300 per household to run our synagogue, but standard dues cover just over half of that amount. Even with other revenue sources, we have, roughly, a $1,000 shortfall per household.

This year, a number of generous donors have established a Matching Gift Program. All new and increased donations will be matched up to a total of $15,000.

Last year, 44% of members gave to the AFA, with gifts starting at just $18. Our goal this year is 100% participation. However much you choose to give, you’re helping to sustain Jewish life at Oheb Shalom.
