Jewish Learning for Children
Open to all, Oheb Shalom is where kids go to grow in South Orange and Maplewood. We offer several enrichment opportunities beyond the Mickey Fried Preschool and the Zeman School. Below, you’ll find information about our Little Sparks programs for kids age 3 and 4, and Baby & Me, for children from birth through 15 months.
2 Sundays, 9-10:30 am plus a third session for the whole family
Little Sparks: Growing Jewish Joy helps your family build joyful Jewish memories from the very beginning. Through hands-on learning, music, stories, and play, your 3- and 4-year-old will begin to explore Jewish life in a warm, age-appropriate setting. Each cycle includes two Sunday morning drop-off sessions just for the kids and a third session for the whole family. The program is designed as an easy, welcoming entry point into Jewish community, no matter your background or experience. It’s a chance to connect, celebrate, and grow — together. Come plant the seeds of Jewish joy with us, one spark at a time.
Fridays, 10:30 am-noon
